why should i get my alarm serviced?

 

A security alarm is made up of several complex components that need to be serviced in order to run smoothly and if even a single piece of the alarm fails to work properly, it can leave the entire system, and subsequently you and your property, in a vulnerable state. 


To ensure that your security alarm is working as it should and to prevent future faults from developing, it is highly recommended to have your system regularly serviced. 


The cost of servicing an alarm system greatly outweighs the costs following a burglary 

How long does it take?

  

Depending on the size of system you have, it should only take a couple of hours for the engineer to undertake the service. 


The whole system will be checked to ensure that it is in a perfect working condition to detect any intruders with new battery's being installed where needed at no extra charge.

what is the cloud for?

  

The Cloud operates as the gateway between the alarm panel and the app, acting as an online administration software for your system.

The Cloud can control the access between panels and the app. This allows you to activate and deactivate app users on the system if needed. It will also authenticate the app access each time users attempt to connect to it. 

The Cloud is hosted with Amazon Web Services, utilising load balance technology and Health Monitoring for stable, high performance operation. Maximum security is maintained at all times with all communications encrypted to the same accepted level as the US Governments standard encryption, with no sensitive user data being stored on the Cloud at any time. 

It also monitors the presence of the system through polling, which occurs every eight minutes over secure IP communications. With this constant monitoring it will rapidly identify any polling failures or other similar fault issues and then forward its status as a notification to ourselves to arrange and address the issue at your convenience.
